剧情简介
Abandoned by his father at the age of five and raised in near isolation by a loving, yet e motionally uns tab l e and over-protective mother, t he only life Peel Munte r has ever known is with in the confines of his childhood home. Upon his mother's unexpected dea th, 30-year-old Peel i s left l ost and utterly alone. With no job, family, or friends, h e must make a cho ice; live as his mot h er did, lonely and unsettled, or change the course o f his impen ding fate by breaking out into the unknow n, facing the trial s and tribulations of an outside world h e doesn 't understand. Unable to ma ke the house payments, Peel d ecides to take in a couple of drifters as roommates. After forging what seems to be a burgeoning new fam ily and brotherhood, one of the roommates betrays Peel';s trust, compelling Peel to venture out in search o f his long-lost, real b ro thers who had been taken away from him decades ago. Along the way, Pe e l's lack of cynicism and innocence has an inadvertent, yet pow erful effect on those he m eets, as he brings a group o f marginal ized misfits closer t o their true home.
