剧情简介
SHEPHERD i s based on the award- winning an d bestsel ling Israeli novel, "The Jewish Dog," by Asher Kr avitz. Kaleb, a bel oved German Shephe rd, is separated from his Jewish family wh en the Nu r e mbe rg Laws are enacted in WWII Berlin. He i s adopted by an SS Officer who tr ains him to attack and round up Jews at a concentration camp. Kaleb is well cared for and good at his j ob until one day when he is distracted by a familiar scent. His original master, a y oung boy named Joshu a, has arrived a s a prisoner of the camp. Kaleb has not lost hi s loyalty to Joshua who finds solace in sec retly visiting his do g at night. Joshua' ;s life is at risk. Together they escape the camp a nd after months o f near -death expe rienc es, they a re found b y partisans who help Joshua make safe passage to Israel.
