剧情简介
In 2015, Spanis h environ mental ists posted a vid eo showing a dolphin trainer mistreating animals at the dolp hin arium in Mallorca. It prompted an interna tional scand a l, bec ause the trainer in question was José Luis Barbero, who had just been a ppointed as vi ce presid ent at the prestigious Georgia Aq ua rium in Atlanta in t he US. Barber o had a reputation as a visionary trainer who, over the decades, radically changed th e world of dolphin shows. This is a man who demands everything of himself, his staff and his animals. Was the video an indictment of the enti re sy stem or a deliberate att empt to dest roy the reputation of one person? T w o worlds c ollide in The Last Dolphin King. On one side stands the lucrative entertainme nt industry, which t reats intelligent animals as valuable commodities.
