剧情简介
Season 3 follows the for tunes of a young U-boat crew as they engage in the Battle of the Atla ntic, are hunted down by an obs essed Royal Navy Commander (Ray Stevenson) and are sent on a dangero us mission to the Southern He misphere. Together they form strong personal alliances under th e command of Robert Ehren berg (Franz Dinda). And yet Ehrenberg's thoughts remain in Kiel, where he has developed feelings for Greta (Elisa Schlott). The y oung mother is married to a man who is seriously injured and suffer ing from war neurosis. Also in Kiel, Wilhelm Hoffmann's daughter Ha nnie (Luise Wolfram) is trapped in a loveless mar riage to Commander Albr echt Lessing (Florian Panzner), a b itt er, e motionally distant man. Ha nnie suffers under the tight co nstraints of her status and the social expectations that go with it. When she meets the charming submarine commande r Schulz (Pierre Kiwitt), she is playi ng with fire. Meanwhile in the exotic climes of neutral Lisbon where the exiles, spies and criminal s of Europe rub shoulders with each other a nd their enemies, Hag en Forster (Tom Wlaschiha) discove rs a lethal plot to steal a fortune in plundered war time gold. The s e discoveries and aspects of his own history deriving from dark experiences on the Eastern front, le ad him to question his own actions and moral path. They also lead hi m to a shadowy figure caught up in a conspiracy tha t might change the course of the War - for the b etter. That man, very much changed by his own shattering experiences, is Klaus Hoffmann (Rick Ok on). These two historical ly based strands come to gether in an unex pected, thrilling finale.
