剧情简介
Following the success of their feature debut Jen ni fer’s Shadow (2004) – an exercise in American Gothic set in a scary land c alled Argentina – P a bl o Parés and Daniel de la Vega worked for a US company on a post-me ga-disaster wasteland zombi e film in which South Am e rica had b een turned into an all-purpose, all-materials junkyard, with the undead as the last humane e ntities around (f or get abo ut the humans he re!). The project never materialised, but Diego Parés, Pablo ’s brother, started to write a nd draw a comic s eries based on the screenplay – which so f ar remains a ruin, as only parts were finished and published. The ECish beauty and balls o f Diego P.’s labour of l ove h ave now been co ngeniall y transformed by the directorial duo into a deligh tfully old-(1970s)school low-budget product ion, closer to R omero and Dante than Fulci and Lenz i. And the I F FR audience is in for the treat o f treats they get to see the film and can also enjoy the unfinish ed com ic in an exhib ition.
