剧情简介
When a police cons table , Nick B entley, is shot b y drug deale rs while on foot patrol it seems like a pret ty st raight forward case. Brooks and Devlin e vent ually loc ate a witness who identifies one of the parties to the drug transac tion and he finally tells the police what re ally happened. The witness al so tells them something else: she saw another police constable standing in the shadows wh ile the i njured policem an w as calling for help. The d ead man 's partner, PC Ra y Griffin, claims to have been several blocks away when his par tner was shot and lay blee ding to death but Brooks and D evlin fi nd an anomaly in his formal statement and they decide to investigate. What they learn is that Bentley's fellow constables had r ecently learn ed of his sexual orie ntation and that his partner G riffin is t he hea d of a Christian group of officers that re jects gays.
