剧情简介
Mar ple is called upo n to solve her mo st perp lexing case yet . Upon his death, financ ier Jo hn R afiel asks her to solve a murder. Only problem is that the murd er may or may not have p lace as yet a nd the vi ctim is unknown. All that he has given her is two tick ets on the Daffodil To ur Company's Mystery Tour. It s oon becomes obvious that others on th e tour were also & quot;selected" by Mr. Rafiel. Jane Marple, assisted by her nephew Raymond West, concludes that the case must be rel ated to that of Verit y Hunt, a young woman who in 19 39 was r unning awa y from an ove rattentive l andlord and eventually disappeared. Wh en a member of the tour dies mys teriously, she also realizes that someone is desp er ate t o keep a deep , dark sec ret.
