剧情简介
Another brilliant giallo thriller f rom di rector Francesco Barilli, w hose THE PERFUME OF TH E LADY I N BLACK was one of the g enr e';s most haunting and original films. This Italian-Spanish follow-up is a b it mud dled , but no less engrossing. Set i n a fami ly hotel in No rther n Ital y in 1945, t he film concerns Rosa (Leonora Fani), who helps her mot her run the hotel while awaiting her soldier father's return from the front. In a B arilli film, nothing is as it seems, and before long Mom (who is sleeping with a traitor she's hidden in the attic ) is murdered . Then po or Rosa is raped by two of the guests, who also are murd e red, and while she's hidin g the bodies she is forced into an or gy by all of the other guests. But before the guests get to fa r a mysterious man enters all shots the gue sts. Who is th is mysterious man and what are his intentions for Rosa? Like all the best gialli, Pens ione Paura completely dispenses with logic early on, el evating weirdness t o nearly operat ic levels while absorbing the viewer in a thic k an d spe llbinding atmosphere of mounting dread.
